The haircut pictures I promised over a year ago, when I offered up over a foot of ponytail to a very worthy cause. Locks Of Love.
For anyone who wants to mourn the ponytail, here’s your companion album.

I’ll be getting on my MileHighMusic™ this October! I’m eagerly looking forward to sharing a bunch of my songs and leading worship for the upcoming 2010 Business Women’s Symposium in Arvada, CO (suburb of Denver) on Friday & Saturday, October 15 & 16 (jump it for the event page on Facebook). Hope I’ll get to see all you Denver folks there! For all you out-of-towners, I’m hoping to livestream some of the sets this time around, if possible.
At this point, I’m anticipating sharing such songs as Lullaby & Home, girls, hindsight/foresight, as well as others. I’m particularly looking forward to being involved with the ongoing flow of the event—not just a single performance—throughout the weekend.
Rocky mountain hi, (sic)

UPDATE: They just made me a swanky page over on the BWSYM event site. Jump it up here for a look.
Well, kids, if you’ve been keeping up with me on Facebook and Twitter, you’re all over the news of a concert here in Crescent City (CA) before we ship off to our next home. I’m happy to say we have a final date and time, and you’re invited:
There or square,

My Online Music Store is officially open for business! The new site features free streaming of my whole CD, and paid digital downloads of individual tracks or the whole album.
MySpace recently purchased Imeem.com (which owned Snocap.com, the force behind my very first—now retired—digital download store widget). Before the ink was dry on the purchase, MySpace shut down all of imeem’s and Snocap’s existing products—including my own nifty Snocap post-anywhere-store-widget online store.
With the advent of my new music store at store.bobpadgett.com, I am happy to announce that my CD is once again available for sale in all imaginable digital download formats (mp3, AAC, FLAC, ALAC, AFLAC (?) and more). Powered by Bandcamp.com, the store includes free streaming of all 13 full-length tracks and complete lyrics for each song.
For my eager, StreetTeamGoon™ breed of fan, you’ll be happy to know that it is super easy to share/spread the word from my new store–there is a “Share” link that gives you options including posting the page as a URL on your own internet homes (i.e. on Facebook and Twitter). The same share link also makes it really easy to get the code to create a music player widget of my CD for your own site/blog/MySpace page–if you WANT to share my music that way. (For examples of the slinky little audio player widget, take a look at the audio player in the right sidebar of this page, or at the audio player widgets on my Facebook page.)
Stop by The Store and tell me what you think with a comment here!
Happy shopping,
Bob
I am now using Twitter as a means to stay in touch with fans and friends about my creative process, as well as (particularly right now) all the work I’m doing developing my website and the rest of my online presence. I am not renouncing other social media and communication tools, but it will probably be my dominant means for updating everyone on the day-to-day and moment-by-moment developments in my musical world. So if that interests you, then stop by my Twitter and follow me.
Tweet tweet,

UPDATE: The Snocap widget-store platform went the way of the dodo as a result of the acquision of Imeem by MySpace. More on that in the post about the NEW Online Store.

I am pleased to announce the Grand Opening of my first Online Store! Starting today, digital downloads of my debut CD, 7: The Live CD Project, are now available on the main page of my MySpace. Scroll down a few inches beneath the standard MySpace audio player to find the handy kiosk widget. Powered by snocap.com, the kiosk will allow you to purchase downloads of the whole CD or any individual tracks, all without ever leaving the page. The Online Store only plays 30-second samples of tracks, but the MySpace audio player is still sporting several full tracks from the CD.
One of the great features of my Online Store is that it can be freely propagated by you, the devoted fan! If you’d like to help get the word out about my music (and help me sell my CD!) you can literally include my store on your site, blog, or homepage! OR you can email the store to someone you think would enjoy my music. Click on the SPREAD THE WORD button on the top of the store for how-to. It’s simple! Drop me a line and tell me if you are helping spread the love!
Either way, stop by and have a look! Let me know what you think.
Buy buy,
Bob
